God has loved you 100% since the moment you were created. Whether your behavior is good or not so good, whether you’re on a road to get closer to Him, moving away or standing still; His love for you remains 100%.  It’s a perfect love.

When you change, drawing closer to Him and your identity comes into alignment with the brilliant person you are supposed to be, He will still love you 100%. The difference is in understanding Him and knowing His ways you will be able to experience more of that percentage.  It is not that God’s love increases, it’s that your ability to receive it grows.

The Lord loves the opportunity to get close to you, the opportunity to work with you, the opportunity to bring you joy and peace.”

LIVING YOUR TRUEST IDENTITY

On our best day, He loves us. On our worst day, He loves exactly the same. That is what it means to have unconditional love.

Being apathetic about something as amazing as God’s perfect unconditional love can be a dangerous thing, Beloved.  That apathy holds the door open to unbelief and invites bitterness and fear to live inside your heart.

Allowing yourself to operate first as His much-loved child, means that you’re believing for an upgraded portion of what is your inheritance.  Whereas, believing that you’re too bad to be unconditionally loved means you’re only half heartedly accepting Jesus as your Savior. Do you see the difference between faith and reception?

Either He died for your sins, or He didn’t.  Either you’re forgiven or you’re not. Beloved, there is no place for apathy in this life!  Expel it from your heart and do yourself a favor. Read the top two paragraphs again. I’ll make it easy for you, I’ll copy them below:

On our best day, He loves us. On our worst day, He loves exactly the same. That is what it means to have unconditional love.

Beloved, His love for us is extraordinary. It’s boundless and everlasting and it’s yours for all the days of your life.

What is your identity in the Lord? You are nothing less than His Beloved.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 29: 11-13
