If the way you are thinking doesn’t make you feel good about yourself and Jesus, it’s time to have another thought.

A mindset rooted in truth makes our circumstances more relevant to God’s purpose and up-to-date in our fellowship with Jesus. The Holy Spirit is a genius at making that happen.

When you don’t agree with how God sees you, you’re actually proving the opposite of what is true. Being renewed in the Spirit of your mind empowers your freedom to grow in a new direction.

Our old mindset looks at situations in terms of how it affects our emotions and lifestyle, and more times than not it causes us to look down and see the adverse effects on ourselves.

The Lord is really only interested in making everything become new, and we are coming into alignment with that perspective.

That is the art of thinking brilliantly; we are always reinforcing the truth that sets us free.

Now, we ought to think of ourselves in light of Paul’s words in Ephesians 4:21-24,

“That, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.”

He is freshening up our thinking from Heaven in Christ.

We are learning to think from a different realm because we are getting Jesus’ perspectives. He came to teach us the mindset, language, and practices of Heaven.

What we create with the mind of the Spirit will completely disempower all the adverse thinking of our natural mind. (1 Corinthians 2:12-16)

The new man in Christ creates a double portion lifestyle because it is rooted in Christ being in us and also in us, getting to practice that lifestyle in Him.

Everything that is new in your life is God-ordained, God-breathed, and God-given.

God’s gift to us is newness of life. Every single day and every situation is about you expanding into newness of life and breaking into absolute freedom.

This whole process needs to be enjoyed not endured. It’s an absolute pleasure to be in Jesus. So enjoy exploring your new mind in Christ, and as you do let us know what you are learning!
