Understanding that you are loved by the Lord can be a profound experience. All our journeys have been different; some have come with a loving family and a safe environment and some have not. For many people, the idea of a Father who can be kind, gentle, a protector, a comforter and provide unconditional love is something that is difficult to compute.
I want to take a few minutes today, as you wrap up the end of your fourth month listening to Fresh Love Every Day, to talk about the impact of knowing that you are loved unconditionally by God. Not just hearing the words, but acknowledging the truth of those words in your heart.
He has a wild love for us and there is no situation in life; no calamity in the world; nothing you could do or say that can ever separate you from His love.
Beloved, if that doesn’t bring you comfort, then congratulations; you’re the first perfect person to walk the earth since Christ.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
Nothing can separate us from the love of God and I believe the fruit of the Spirit is where we learn to abide in God’s loving nature. The fruit of the Spirit has the power of God to enable us to truly become Christ-like.
