Grace is more than just a safety net or fallback plan. Grace makes the presence of God real and tangible. It’s meant to go before us so we can move forward with confidence.
Psalm 23:6 says, “Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
You are a magnet for His goodness. You can’t escape His goodness, you can’t out run it. Whether you are having a good day or a bad day, His goodness will find you. It will track you down. It will pursue you ALL the days of your life.
And as a people living as new creations in Christ, we have to receive and accept that fact; that His unrelenting goodness is going to be with us for all of our days. Because everyone around us needs to taste and see that the Lord is good.
We are real-life demonstrations of God’s true nature. He is in our life for our welfare, for our blessing, and for the impact of the world around us.
