There is a place set aside for you to encounter and experience LIFE in all His fullness. In this place there is no striving, no feelings of inadequacy or distress. You’re not defeated nor do you carry condemnation or shame. All of the old is removed and a new life, ready to be lived differently, is now possible.
It was the Father’s dream from the foundation of the earth to have a family that He could love outrageously and who would love Him in return. To have a place for all of us to know, receive and embrace all that He is.
It’s The Place of Abiding a fellowship so rich it changes everyone and everything it touches.
Abiding from God’s Perspective
Our starting point for The Place of Abiding is not simply of study or head knowledge, it’s actually in hearing the heart of the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for all you are about to encounter in them.
This episode is a devotional, prophetic word. When you first watch this episode, do not take notes right off the bat, just listen and soak in this work to allow the truth of how God sees you and thinks about you to wash over you.
Abiding Creates a Lifestyle Venue
The Father’s dream before creation was to have a people He could live with in fullness and abundance. Abiding created the place of meeting God has always wanted it to be. Your starting point for abiding must be that God is with you exactly as He was with Jesus.
This episode journeys throughout the Old and New Testaments, highlighting God’s continual desire to abide and meet with His people. You will learn how the law became a measurement of behavior to assess righteousness, but how the Father has always preferred relational transformation over performance and how Jesus really did change everything.
You Have A Direct Connection
Abiding offers a direct connection with God through Christ. You were put into Christ so you could encounter a life where there are no barriers between you and God. You have a face to face, living and transformational relationship with the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. God with you and IN you. Abiding is where He abides with you and you are free to abide with Him.
Abiding through your own self-effort and striving was never God’s intention, and He knew you would need a brilliant companion to empower you to stay, dwell and remain. The incomparable Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit plans on enjoying every connection He has with you. Good days, bad days…it doesn’t matter, He is unchanging. The Holy Spirit teaches you how to love the learning in every circumstance.
Our Place of Abiding is God's Gift
Abiding is the best and fastest way to become transformed, simply because it is totally relational. You don’t have to rely upon meetings or programs to create change in your life, in Jesus you possess an internal place of seeing, knowing, and speaking in alignment with WHO God is for you.
Abiding is a gift, and God’s gifts are expansive in nature. His gifts increase from the inside to the outside. And all your learning takes place in your relationship with God in abiding. He initiates everything with you.
Abiding is An Act of Celebration
The way the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are with each other is the exact same relationship you are invited into.
In episode 6 of The Place of Abiding, I’m discussing how the 3-in-1 celebrate their Oneness and Unity. God’s intention towards you is to celebrate the same relationship. Abiding is an act of celebration as God initiates and we respond.
The Fruit of Abiding
What are the fruits of abiding? How is fruit cultivated in your life?
Jesus said, “I am the true vine and my Father is the Vinedresser. Every branch that bears fruit, He prunes, that it may bear more fruit…I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, bears much fruit.” Both Jesus and the Father are closely involved with each other in your growth and fruitfulness.
Evidences of a Lifestyle of Abiding
Can you recognize the evidence of a lifestyle of abiding? In the old man, behavior was seen as proof of relationship. In the new man, behavior is a natural outcome of an abiding relationship.
This episode describes the markers of a growing lifestyle of abiding. The relational process of transformation began with God, and now you have the joy of celebrating and establishing it with Him! As you encounter His truth, you will become more confident in His unchanging love. You will be aware and focused in your responses and choices, rather than striving through self-effort.
Expect to Abide: A Prophetic Word
Abiding is the flow of the Kingdom in you. In Christ, abiding is the place where you will always be loved, always be safe, and can experience the same life that the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit have enjoyed.
This prophetic word is all about expectation for who you become next in God. So put down your pens, sit back and bask in this word from the Father. Take this word and listen to it until your expectation of the Place of Abiding rises to the level of Christ in you.
Favor is the privilege of support, goodness, power, and provision. It’s a benefit of belonging to God regardless of circumstances. Because we live in Christ, we already have favor in His eyes. We no longer wonder IF His favor is present, but WHERE it is present.
Get ready to explore God’s core favor for the specific situations we encounter. We will be highlighting powerful keys in the lives of Joseph, Esther, Mary, Nehemiah and Daniel. You will be trained to recognize and live in the unchanging and unrelenting favor of the Lord. In this latest series, you will discover a lifestyle of Constant, Continuous Favor in God and with God
Living in constant, continuous favor is our permanent placement in Christ. We no longer have to wonder if His favor is present, we get to discover where it present. The gift of God’s favor is a benefit of the New Man. It is not just for ourselves, but for every arena we touch. All things in life can become a training ground for favor. This series will teach you how to recognize it and how to partner with the Holy Spirit living every day under His smile.
The Core of Favor
God’s relationship with us and ours with Him is founded on favor. Favor is a relationship and an advantage given to us to benefit us. We were put into Christ so that all of the benefits of Jesus could now be ours.
Our Core Favor generates our good expectations of God and creates an awareness of His empowering grace and His identity mingling with ours.
The situations of our life are the training ground for favor. Core favor keeps us grounded in our relationship with God, but situational favor is where God goes before us, making deposits of favor where there is none.
Our training in favor allows us to see past distractions, become stronger and teaches us how to engage with God in establishing breakthroughs in our life.
Favor In Crisis
The life of Joseph holds some invaluable keys for us as we are being trained in favor. He goes from much beloved, favored son to being sold as a slave, then is accused of adultery and thrown into prison; he is forgotten there before finally being brought before Pharaoh.
In every place Joseph went, God had made deposits of favor. Our process of development involves being able to recognize those deposits in times of personal crisis. Our starting point is that God is always present, therefore His favor is always present.
Favor For Our Passions
God is a passionate God. He is passionate for you and to see you inherit everything that Jesus makes available to us in Him. His passions always come with a promise and have a provision of favor attached to them.
As you grow in your relationship with God, His passions become your passions. Nehemiah was given a burden to see the walls of a city he had never seen be rebuilt. There is always a divine advantage and an ability to be elevated to His perspective so that you see possibilities instead of problems. You may encounter resistance, but that is just an opportunity to grow your capacity and stamina.
Favor of Opportunity: Recognizing Your Moment
Windows of opportunity present themselves for a period of time and it’s our training in favor that allows us to recognize and use them as an advantage for what God has prepared for us.
Esther was taken captive to be paraded before the King who was searching for a new wife. Not only did she find immense favor with him, but that favor was a precursor to step into God’s favor so that a nation could be saved.
Standing In Favor
All of the favor of Christ is ours based on our placement in Him, not on our performance. What if a key to favor was being rooted and grounded in His true nature and simply standing?
Shadrach, Mishach and Abed-Nego experienced this kind of favor. They didn’t bow down and worship the king’s idols, they knew beforehand what their response would be. They were committed to standing in grace and favor no matter what the circumstances. They ended up in a fiery furnace and Jesus showed up.
Responding to Favor
We are loved and highly favored. As a new creation in Christ, you are designed to live in fullness and abundance and you can overcome frustrating difficulties and challenges by being overwhelmed and astonished by His favor.
In this episode, Graham compares and contrasts the responses to favor of Zacharias and Mary in Luke 1. God is the God of the impossible and it is our choice to respond to the situation or to respond to who God wants to be for us in our situation. Our response to favor elevates us to a level to where God lives in sovereign power, and we see His favor as magnificent as it really is.
The Empowering Favor of Promises
Wherever favor manifests, a promise will always be present. As part of growing a lifestyle of favor, we will recognize and be able to partner with the promises of God in our lives.
God’s promises call us UP to see ourselves the way He does. Promises are much more than circumstantial encouragements. God doesn’t just engage with our promises and how they impact today, He talks with us about our future to pull those promises towards our present. Favor closes the gap between promises given and promises fulfilled.
The Power of Proclamation
Every story shared in this series of Constant, Continuous Favor has been a story of overcoming. We must all learn to receive under pressure and overcome. Proclamation is essential to converting our learning into a favor lifestyle.
A promise gives us permission and our response to permission is proclaiming our favor. Our response should match His intention which is outrageous. Proclamation must become as imperative to our life as prayer, worship, and thanksgiving.
Constant, Continuous Favor: A Devotional Prophetic Word
In this final episode of Constant, Continuous Favor, Graham gives a devotional prophetic word to this Brilliant Community. You will feel the affection of His delight in the encounters of favor as He has gone ahead of you.
“The Place of Increase” will show you how to:
+ Celebrate your gains + Recognize your growth + Understand the New Man perspective of self-examination
+ Expand your capacity to INCREASE
+ Break free of guilt and shame over where you’re still developing
“The Place of Increase” will train you in the next step of going higher in the Truth and living a life where refreshing, renewal and regeneration becomes part of your daily experience.
The Place of Increase
When you discover something wonderful… and THEN… you find out that there’s MORE?
THAT’S a cause for celebration!
Our God is the God of abundance, in a world of measure. But when you’re used to the thinking and language of measure and restriction, it is easy to settle for less than the extravagance of who God is.
The Place of Increase: JOY
In these series, we will refresh, renew and increase your lifestyle from your previous learning, beginning with your JOY as a new creation in Christ!
In this original episode, discover how all of our learning is meant to take place in an environment of ever-increasing joy. It’s a manifestation of “on earth as it is in heaven”…because the joy is the atmosphere where God lives
The Place of Increase: The Majesty of Joy
Hearing the voice of the Lord is an essential element in Relational Learning. In stepping into an established lifestyle of joy, this devotional prophetic word is a Master Key in increasing your experience of how God sees, thinks and feels about Joy.
There is a beauty about Joy that you must embrace in order for it to become the way you live. So whether you are hearing this episode for the first time or the 100th time, listen for where you can celebrate your gains in Joy – and encounter His next Place of Increase in Joy for you!
The Place of Increase: Joy That Strengthens
The Fruit of the Spirit is the true nature of God, therefore, it is already present in you as a New Creation in Christ.
This week we are celebrating where you have already experienced Joy and we will look at how that joy has strengthened you, and discover what new increases of Joy you can expect next!
The Place of Increase: Expect to be Joyful
Expectation has a significant impact on Joy becoming our everyday experience. But Joy is always present because of who God is for us; therefore we have permission to EXPECT Joy, and we can also expect to DISCOVER an increase of Joy in our lives.
In this episode, you can connect or reconnect to a higher expectation of Joy because there’s always room to go higher! Everything in your life holds an opportunity for you to become more Christ-like and that’s a joyful expectation.
The Place of Increase: What Good Things are Already in Me?
All of us want to live a life of impact. All of us want to be effective in communicating the Kingdom of God to the world around us. But it’s hard to increase if all you ever see is everything you are not.
God celebrates every part of your journey every step of the way. He knows the Kingdom of God is in you because He put it there!
The Place of Increase: Joy is an Eternal Environment
When God does something for the first time, He always sets a precedent. By that precedent we can know Him forever in that context because He does not change. The first action of heaven regarding Jesus on earth was: JOY!
+ Luke 2:8-15
+ John 16:33
+ John 15:11
+ John 16:20-24
+ Luke 6:22-23
The Place of Increase: Unstuck from Heaven to See Earth
Oftentimes our awareness of God’s presence is wrapped around an experience at a church or a conference. We can get stuck thinking that this is the only way to really “feel” His presence. Beloved, God put us into Christ and Christ into us, so we could have an internal, covenant relationship with him that is continual. He put us into the one place that we can always hear His voice and know His presence.
Oftentimes prayer can become one of the disciplines of Christianity instead of a delight. What if prayer isn’t about trying to find an answer, but what if prayer is about praying with THE answer.
In this new series, we will be:
+ Inspiring, teaching and coaching you in a life of prayer
+ Helping you to develop a lifestyle of prayer that goes beyond what you could ever imagine.
Prayer: One of Your Benefits
Prayer is one of the greatest benefits of life as a new creation in Christ. Our confidence rises because Jesus and the Holy Spirit are permanent residents in us. We focus on WHO God is and who we are in Him and therefore prayer is answered differently in the New Man. We no longer hope to find an answer, we are invited to dwell in it.
Everything You Need is Waiting
God is not only with us and in us, but He has gone before us. He lives outside of time. He has prepared whatever it is that we need. We are secure in our identity as the Beloved of Christ, heirs and joint heirs in Jesus. We aren’t wondering IF God has made provision for us, we are looking to see where it is.
Meet Your Prayer Team
We have the best prayer team living inside us. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are fully focused to praying for us and with us. They aren’t just away in Heaven praying for us, they are IN us imparting peace, confidence and joy.
Sometimes we pray too quickly out of panic or needing to be rescued, but our New Man starts from a place of peace and stillness. We aren’t praying for an answer, we are praying WITH the answer.
Prayers of Promise
Prayers of promise are our relational reality with God. He expects us to take full advantage of our promises.
We don’t often know how it will manifest, but we can be sure that it will within our relationship with God.
He loves being a part of our lives and the Godhead partnered with us, accompany each other in the course of life.
The Language of Expectation in Prayer
As we experience partnering with Jesus and the Holy Spirit in prayer, our language changes. It becomes more defined and targeted.
We develop an expectation to be welcomed into their conversation because we know in whom we have believed. Expectation grows up in us as God’s presence becomes more real to us.
